About Fore-Mont

The Fore-Mont Research Centre for ICT is the newly established research center and laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE), University of Montenegro (UoM) in Podgorica. The Centre has been implemented as a major tool of the EU funded REGPOT project Fore-Mont (Fostering Innovation Based Research for e-Montenegro) which aims at strengthening the development of the UoM's FEE innovative research performances in Information and Communication Technologies and applications. The project itself has the following main objectives: building a sustainable strategy, knowledge, and infrastructure to be able to support the development of e-Society for Montenegro, but as well, as the leading regional centre to offer this range of materials and skills, for all South-Eastern Europe area.

Through Fore-Mont, FEE is embracing the transformation of its roles in the technological development of Montenegro as the leading incubator for applications of the novel ICT technologies in different segments of modern life. The new multidisciplinary research and deployment challenges have emerged for ICT services and applications in agriculture, medicine, biology, health and ecology, integrations in smart environments, transport... Thus, the new Fore-Mont Research Centre for ICT gathers ranges of expertise and activities in the following areas of research and innovation
