April 21–23, 2015 | Doha, Qatar

Travel

Hamad International Airport, the primary hub of Qatar Airways, serves flights from 23 regional and international airlines. Qatar Airways flies to more than 120 destinations worldwide offering easy connections to Doha.

Transportation

Upon arrival Hamad International Airport, you will be ferried by bus to the terminal where cash machines (ATMs) and a phone kiosk are in the arrival lobby.

All airport taxis are operated by Mowasalat; a Qatari state-owned company. The vehicles are clean, well-maintained and staffed by trained drivers. The Taxi Pavilion is located just outside the passenger terminal, a short walk to your left as you exit the Arrivals hall. Please follow the signs, ask at an information desk or use airport map to find your way.

Airport Taxi Pavilion makes it easy to hire and board your taxi. You can easily recognize Karwa by their aquamarine color. All Karwa taxis are metered and fairly inexpensive. The starting fare from Hamad International Airport is QAR 25 (USD 7). A ride to almost all hotels (including Hilton Doha) in Doha costs less than $25. Please ensure you’re carrying enough Qatari Riyals to pay for your trip as taxis only accept cash payments in local currency.
